Working from Home e-learning
Working from Home is a new e-learning course designed to give staff the information they need to look after their own physical and mental health while working from home.
Working from Home is suitable for staff who work from home at any time and for any reason (e.g. on an ad-hoc basis, or a more flexible hybrid pattern following the COVID pandemic.)
While acknowledging the personal and organisational benefits that home working can bring, Working from Home considers the main risks to health and wellbeing and provides straightforward guidance on how to manage these challenges. Key topics covered include Stress, Mental Health and Wellbeing, and the Safe Use of DSE.
Working from Home also addresses the subject from the perspective of the employer, explaining the extent of an employer's general duty of care towards staff who work away from the office. This can help staff to have realistic expectations about what employers should and can do for home workers.
For flexibility, Working from Home can can be purchased with or without a Home Working Checklist which learners can use to carry out a basic home working risk assessment themselves. Both versions of the course are priced at £10.00 + VAT per licence.
Working from Home was developed with our e-learning partners echo3education, and licences can be purchased from their website. Volume discounts are available, and the course can also be supplied - with or without customisation - for hosting on existing Learning Management Systems.
